Eerie to hear Ruth Lyons mention JFK's rocking chair in passing just minutes before he was killed.

Another tragic coda: Ruth's daughter Candy (whom Ruth praised at length in this broadcast) was diagnosed with breast cancer a year or two after this, and she died still in her early 20s. This apparently hastened Ruth's retirement.
